The
Mustard Seed Farm kitchen in many ways is not unlike a typical
Vermont farm kitchen, a busy place, a gathering place, warm and
cheerful, great aromas wafting about no matter what the season.
From the kitchen comes
all sorts of farm family baked foods and treats. Every week,
from May through October, during farm market season baked goods
pour forth: dozens of pies, cookies, cakes, treats like pastries,
sticky buns, cheese cakes and tarts. Another really popular item
are Joni's Jar Cakes and their many unique flavors.
Many times during the year
the kitchen creates an endless stream of fruit cakes, harvest
cakes, tea cakes and others to be found in national mail order
catalogs. All from the Mustard Seed Farm kitchen.
